Dear Southern
California Deaf Bikers/Brothers/Sisters,
A BIG THANK YOU!
to all SC Deaf Bikers
who attended and made
our SEPT. 25TH
SC Deaf Bikers Ride
a big success!!!
Wow, wow,
wow!!! It is still hanging out of my mouth ever since I arrived at
Sagabush Cantina restuarant and saw 21 deaf bikers there
spit-polishing up their 17 bikes for the long and beautiful-scenic
ride to the Rock Store, Joanne/Larry Markham's beautiful Seacliff
summer home and Solvang. It is much larger number than we expected.
Joanne/Larry Markham and friends were very thrilled to see so many
deaf bikers showing up at their summerhome and enjoyed every minute
of our company. The ride from Sagabush Cantina to Solvang was very
smooth thru cool, cloudy, hot and sunny weathers. Wish we all have a
big gas tank on our bikes (Heh). Solvang motorcycle museum is an
unique experience to see a collection of old/rare motorcycles which
some of us says," I used to have/ride those bike but I sold it..." or
"If I win a lotto, I will buy this bike". Sherif Fathy
("Loose-Handlebar" Harley biker/class clown) did an excellent
job joking around and herding us to an excellent Danish restuarant
buffet for dinner and pastry in Solvang. Everyone enjoyed reuniting,
chatting and swapping jokes and stories with all of us. It was a
great and unforgetable time for all of us SC Deaf Bikers...
Thanks again for
making the great gathering!!!
