     Last weekend, deaf bikers; Steve, Jesse, my friend Michelle, her hubby Dean Wolfe, my wife Tina and me went riding on the motorcycles for "In Loving Memory of Leroy McCarty Run 2007" at Death Valley, what Leroy, Randy and I went there last Thanksgiving's Day 2005 and see pictures of them. Also we have had best memories about him. Steve and Jesse, their motorcycles went (round trip) total 960. miles on odometers My motorcycle went 690. miles from Victorville to Death Valley then last stop at Nebo Base in Barstow. Jorge is not coming, delete name on "who go". I will email you some pictures of Death Valley Run 2007 weekend. because my lap top have no Hi Speed Wi-Fi internet around Nebo Base Rv park, so bring it to my home and email you bullet speed download. Please patient few days!

Hi my friend bikers,

Last weekend (4-5 May 2007), We went riding for "In Loving Memory of Leroy Mc Carty" at Death Valley, that mean I had remembered what Leroy told me, may go ride with us to Death Valley again, and I told him will be my assist road captain for Death Valley Run 2007. Now, he is my brother of angel biker followed with us as safe ride to Death Valley.

    Hey Deaf Bikers and Family,

    I (Mark Maiden) will be a road captain of the deaf bikers that will takes place at Death Valley National Park.

    1st DAY: FRIDAY 4 MAY 2007

        First meet at Mimi's Cafe in Victorville, there will open breakfast at 7:00 am until about 9:30 am, then lead on North U.S. Hwy 395 and second stop at Kramer Junction crosses Hwy 58, you will find gas stations and restroom then meet coffee shop, while wait for all other deaf bikers then leave @ around 11:00 am. Lead on North U.S. Hwy 395  until stop for gas station on Gill Station Coso Road to Olancha then exit to North Hwy 190 Death Valley, next stop for gas stations at Panamint Springs and Stovepipe Wells, next turn right on South Hwy 190 to Furnace Creek and last stop at the Chevron gas station. Then we all of us go check in lodging then eat at the Forty-Niner Cafe or Wrangler Steakhouse restaurant at the Furnace Creek Ranch until dusk time.

     If you would like to tow your bike with camping gear, you may do so. Or you would like to ride on the bike and have your family bring camping gear for you in camper or vehicle. Or ride on the bike with camping gear in the back.

    2nd DAY: SATURDAY 5 MAY 2007

     (For those people who can't go on Friday, we will leave on early Saturday morning to arrive at the General Store in Stovepipe Wells Village to meet for Road Captain, Mark Maiden and group by around 10:00 am - For Riverside, bikers will leave by 6:00 am at Costco on 11800 4th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, California)

     In the morning, after breakfast and fill up gas at Furnace Creek Ranch, then we, all of us lead on North Hwy 190 next stop at the Visitor Center & Museum in Furnace Creek for (FEE COLLECTION STATION) then lead to the General Store in Stovepipe Wells Village to meet for Riverside, bikers coming then we, all of us get together lead to Scotty's Castle, there will have discount price with National Park Golden Access Pass for $6.00 per person. Also I hope to get an interpreter with us will go touring at the Scotty's Castle. After tour, lead to see many points of interest on South Hwy 190 road to stop last point of interest at Dante's View (EL. 5475 above) and see the sunlight go dusk then return to Furnace Creek Ranch.

    3rd DAY: SUNDAY 6 MAY 2007

       In the early morning after meal and check out from Furnace Creek Ranch, lead on South 178 Hwy to next point of interest at Badwater Basin (EL.-282 ft below sea level) then stop for Chevron gas station and market or cafe at Shoeshone Museum, then go ride on South Hwy 127 road last point of interest at Tecopa Hot Spring, then lead to Baker where find the gas stations and Bob's Big Boy diner or go home on your own.

      (Important information: You are to make Furnace Creek Ranch reservation for two nights' stay, Friday and Saturday nights. I got hold of 14 rooms until March 31.  After this, the remaining rooms will be released to hearing people. Phone number to make reservation will be..
