Oklahoma City to Amarillo, Texas - 258 miles
Left at 9:00 am and arrived at 5:55 pm
Most of 13 riders went on US 66 route. We continued westward
through 3/4 mile-long and 38-arch "Pony" bridge on the Canadian River.
We arrived at Clinton to visit the US 66 Museum around 11 am.
We met Dave Tester group at the Shamrock, the home of the U-drop Inn and
Tower Station of an art-deco masterpiece.
We noted a tallest "Leaning Water Tower" at Groom, Texas. We took some
photos of Volkswagen cars being half buried. We arrived at Amarillo, Texas at 5:55 pm and had a brief rest before we went on for a dinner at the home of famous Big Texan Steak House. Anyone who can eat 72-ounce of steak within one hour will not have to pay for his/her dinner. This dinner costs $72. Pay or free! Bobby Skedsmo |

We ate at the infamous 72oz. steakhouse for dinner in Amarillo, TX

After eating the delicious thick steak, their tummies became bigger.
